What You Need For An Amazing At-Home Coffee Bar

Coffee bars are officially my new home project obsession– and when the starbucks line is too long, and you can’t afford to pay $5.00 for you favorite mocha everyday, twice a day, a coffee bar is exactly the thing you need in your life (and home.) These stations can come in all sizes, contain all kinds of machinery, and can even be created in spaces outside of your kitchen like the living room or dining room.

So for those who are overwhelmed by the idea of manifesting and affording an at-home coffee oasis, I have gathered a list of everything you could possibly want and need for your new project; I’ve found the best bang for your buck, as well as a splurge-worthy option for those who are serious about investing in their home’s coffee future. So, let’s do this thing!

Table or Cart

If you have enough counter space in your kitchen (meaning, enough to spare a section for a coffee bar), you’re in luck! If not, these are some of my favorite options you can pick up from Target.

Urban Style Kitchen Cart at Target  $539.99

Wood and Gold Bar Cart at Target  $64.98

Keurig Coffee Maker

Ah, Keurig, how I love you. You’ve made my mornings SO much easier! If you’re in a pinch for space, the Keurig mini is perfect (and comes in really cute colors). If you’ve got several people hitting the coffee bar every morning, the complete brewing system should be your go to.

Keurig K10/K15 MINI at Target $69.99

Keurig K425 Brewing System  at Target $129.99

Pour-Over System

If nothing else, having a pour-over system will just make you look and feel fancy. I love to use my Chemex when I have spare time to make a special brew.

Bodum 4-cup Pour Over Coffee Maker at Target $17.99

Chemex Pour Over  available at Whole Foods  $45.99

Espresso Machine

Trust me, an espresso machine is worth the investment! You don’t have to use it every day, but it’s great for guests and special occasions.

Delonghi 15 Bar Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker at Target $199.99

Nespresso DeLonghi Espresso Machine  at Target $299.99

Let’s face it—having cute mugs to drink your morning (or afternoon, or evening) coffee from is half the fun!

Indigo Brushed Organic Shaped Mugs at Target $19.99

10 Strawberry Street Iriana Gold Can Cup Set of 4 at Target $69.99

Coffee Cup Holder

If you have a cabinet above the area where you’re setting up your coffee bar, use that to store mugs and other necessary items. If you don’t, grab a coffee cup holder to hang on the wall or set on the counter!

Spectrum Euro Mug Holder at Target $7.19

Cups for Days Rack @ Magnolia  from Magnolia Market $85.00

Whole Bean Coffee

Your coffee bar is obviously going to need coffee! Buy Allegro Coffee Company’s whole bean coffee at Whole Foods and use their grinder for free so you can enjoy fresh grounds. Mmmm.

Allegro Blue Nile Blend from Whole Foods  $11.99

Blue Bottle Coffee Blend Box  from Blue Bottle Coffee$35.00

Coffee Canister

Display your coffee in a tightly sealed glass jar so your coffee stays fresh!

Bormioli Rocco Fido 2 Liter Jar with Blue Lid  at Target $9.49

Airscape Steel Coffee Bean Canister from Amazon $26.95

Electric Kettle

Electric kettles heat the water up faster, and can be easily stored when they’re not in use! Here are my top recommendations

Chantal Electric Water Kettle at Target $19.99

Dualit Design Series Kettle at Target $129.99
