Let’s be honest, all of us are looking for extra ways to stay safe + healthy right now. Whether it’s a good ‘ol 2-in-1 to stretch or time x dollars, sustainable soap to help us clean with confidence, or an organization hack to help clear our space x mind from the chaos, we’re all ears. Recently, we were tipped off to the many uses of Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap. Curious about the hype? With 18-in-1 uses – face, body, laundry, pets, dishes + more – this little bottle literally does it all. Plus, it’s three times more concentrated than regular soap, so it lasts longer. What you need:

  • 1/3-1/2 c. of castile soap for a large load

Add contents needing to be washed to laundry machine and add soap directly on top of clothing or in the soap receptacle. Cut the above measurement in half for High Efficiency washing machines.

What you need:

  • 8 oz. of castile soap
  • 8 oz. of distilled water
  • 1 tbsp. of sweet almond oil
  • Medium foaming soap dispenser
  • Optional: essential oils for skin support

Pour all of the ingredients into the soap dispenser and shake it up to mix well. 1-2 pumps will take washing your face to a whole new level.

What you need:

  • ½ tsp. of castile soap
  • glass filled half-way with lukewarm water

Fill a glass with lukewarm water and add in castile soap. Place brushes in the glass and let them sit for an hour. Rinse them off in cold water and let them dry.

What you need:

  • ¼ tsp. of castile soap
  • Bowl filled with water
  • Produce that needs cleaning

Put castile soap in water-filled bowl. Add fruit and/or vegetables into mixture and mix around. Rinse after produce is cleaned well.

What you need:

  • ¼ cup of any scent or unscented castile soap
  • A 32 oz. amber, glass spray bottle
  • 1 quart of water
  • Optional: Add your favorite essential oils for refreshing scent. We tend to lean toward citrus, eucalyptus, or tea tree oil.

Mix all of these ingredients into glass spray bottle and use to clean floors, countertops, bathrooms, etc. Leave your house smelling delicious with no harmful chemicals.

What you need:

  • 2-5 drops of castile soap, depending on size of dog

Place drops of castile soap in your hands and lightly wet under the faucet. Lather the soap in your hands and directly apply to your furry friend. Rinse suds thoroughly.
