Potato Chips Got A Makeover

We talked to Lisa from TX and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Thoughts on the nutritional value of go free snacks?

A
I was really excited to try the products and believed this chip could be a lighter alternative to fried potato chips, and a better tasting substitute for baked chips. I was also really drawn to the simple list of natural ingredients and the healthier nature of a snack with less fat and fewer calories.
Q
What's your take on the flavor?

A
I absolutely loved the sea salt potato chips, and thought they were an excellent alternative to fried potato chips. I liked that they maintained the taste and crunch of traditional chips, while ditching some of the excess calories and fat. I found the texture to be denser than that of fried potato chips, but also lighter and much more tasty than baked chips.
Q
How do these chips fit into your day-to-day?

A
As somebody who is health-conscious, but simultaneously refuses to give up snack foods, these chips would be a healthy alternative to fried potato chips, without sacrificing taste or texture. These chips provide the authentic experience of traditional chips with a lot less fat and fewer calories.
Q
Why would you keep them on hand?

A
With favorite snacks, like potato chips, I have a hard time limiting the portion size. Knowing that these chips have less fat and calories than traditional chips, but still provide the familiar taste and crunch, I wouldn't feel like I was having to compromise or excessively limit myself. I would gladly keep these on hand for times when the taste for potato chips arises and after sampling, I know these would satisfy my craving.
Enjoy the taste and crunch of traditional potato chips, with a lot less fat and fewer calories.
