- 1 Cup MaraNatha® Creamy Almond Butter
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Almond Extract
- 2 Cups Arrowhead Mills® Coconut Flour
- ¼ Cup Rice Dream® Rice Drink
- 1 TBS Baking Powder
- ¾ Cup Baking Chocolate
- ½ Cup Sliced Almonds
- ½ Cup Chocolate Chips
- 3 Eggs
Preheat oven to 350°
Whisk flour and baking powder together, set aside
In a bowl, combine the sugars and almond butter, mix for 2 minutes
Add eggs [one at a time] and vanilla, beat for 30 seconds
Add half the flour mixture, mix thoroughly
Add Rice Dream® Rice Drink and remaining flour mixture, mix thoroughly
Stir in chocolate chips
Separate dough into 4 even pieces
Shape each piece into 4 x 6″ rectangles about a 1/2″ thick
Bake for 15- 20 minutes, until firm to the touch
Cool completely before slicing
Cut each loaf into 1/2 – 3/4″ slices
Place each cut side down and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until dry.
Dip the tips in melted chocolate and sprinkle with sliced almonds
