Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Leigh C from CA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Leigh C:  I can taste garlic, ginger and onion maybe mushroom. It's tasty - not too spicy. I think the noodles are perfect - not soggy, not too firm - just right. It taste much better than regular top ramen which is too bland not much flavor. It taste yummy with the little veggies.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Leigh C:  I would add chicken breast and some mushrooms. I think it would be good with baked or broiled chicken on the top. I would cut up some steak and fresh bell peppers. Some onions would taste good mixed in as well.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Leigh C:  I liked the spicy flavor and the little pieces of veggies. It taste much fresher than the other brands. I love garlic and ginger and I can really taste it.
“ It taste much fresher than the other brands.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Leigh C:  It was very easy I microwaved the hot water until boiling them added to the cup. It was very convenient and easy to make.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Leigh C:  I would say it's perfect - not too spicy. It's not as hot as eating hot chili peppers. I would definitely recommend. It's delicious.

Thank you for your time, Leigh C! We love your feedback.
