Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Catherine N. from AR about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Catherine N.:  The broth has a mild but spicy flavor to it, like you don't feel the spicy upfront and not too salty either. The noodles are quite chewy, unlike regular noodles which gives off a natural feel to it and together It's quite the mix of flavor and texture. I never usually like cup noodles, but this I would try again cause it's just the right amount of spicy - not too much or too little.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Catherine N.:  I would add less water for the broth for a more concentrated flavor and maybe more veggies.
“It's just the right amount of spicy.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Catherine N.:  I like the balanced spicy flavor and the natural taste of the noodles.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Catherine N.:  I simply tore off the lid, opened up the soup base and pored it into the cup, then put some water to the line indicated and microwaved for 3minutes exactly after which I stirred the noodles in the cup and boom.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Catherine N.:  It's evenly spiced - not too much for a snotty nose or too little for no flavor.

Thank you for your time, Catherine N.! We love your feedback.
