Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Amber T. from OH about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Amber T.:  I taste a lot of spice within the broth, although it tastes mostly of pepper, actually the pepper begins to overtake any other flavor I'm experiencing. The noodle texture is on point perfectly cooked and melt away as I eat it. Overall the taste combination of the noodles and the broth is well I just didn't expect such a strong peppered taste in the spice.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Amber T.:  If I added less water, I could add a nice piece of grilled chicken and some cheese to make a main course for dinner. Also, some grilled steak would be a great addition to the shin bowl.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Amber T.:  I like the convenience of being able to make something substantial without a lot of time. The broth to noodle ratio is great not too many noodles or broth.
“The broth to noodle ratio is great.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Amber T.:  I prepared my shin bowl per microwave directions, the process is super simple. I love that this can be made even by my children without a worry that they have to run the stove.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Amber T.:  The general spiciness is less than I thought it would be, I expectedly to punch me in the mouth with spice. General heat level is very tolerable not overwhelming, just very peppery.

Thank you for your time, Amber T.! We love your feedback.
