Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Kristina P. from KY about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Kristina P.:  For starters, this is a very spicy noodle soup; however, it is not so much so, that it will numb your taste buds. That being said, it has a wonderful amount of vegetable bits inside, and as long as you do not let the noodles sit too long, they are a pleasing consistency...not too soft and not too chewy! I would have preferred to have a few oyster crackers with it, but I digress.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Kristina P.:  "I would have preferred to eat this with oyster crackers and some shredded cheese perhaps, like a chilli. Shrimp would be the alternative!"
“It certainly has a colorful palate of flavor!”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Kristina P.:  I feel this is somewhat the same as other Ramen noodles I've tried; however, you do get more for your money, and it certainly has a colorful palate of flavor!
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Kristina P.:  Very simple to prepare this, as all you need to do is add hot water and wait. I prepared this at a gas station during my lunch break.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Kristina P.:  I would say this product is fairly spicy; however, it does not numb your tongue!

Thank you for your time, Kristina P.! We love your feedback.
