We talked to Kelly L. from OH about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Kelly L.:  While tasting the broth, I could taste a very delicious beef flavor first and foremost, with a nice hot pepper and red chili flair to it. There are also notes of onion and mushroom. The texture of the noodles are slippery, soft and have a somewhat chewy texture. The noodles seem to almost disintegrate in my mouth as I chew them. There's definitely a spicy aftertaste that leaves you wanting to keep eating.

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Kelly L.:  If I used this shin cup in future meals, I'd probably add my own fresh veggies to he mix. I'd also add whatever meat I had in the fridge/freezer, but would probably prefer a thinly sliced beef. Although, it would still be good with chicken. I think I'd add anything from broccoli to peppers to onions to sugar snap peas.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Kelly L.:  I like that it was ready fast and in its own container. I also liked that it had actual dried pieces of onion and mushroom. Other popular ramen products do not have any visible pieces of veggies and I liked that better. The flavor was also much stronger and tasty.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Kelly L.:  I followed the directions on the bowl and used the provided container. It was fast and ready quickly using my microwave. This is pretty much the most convenient lunch or dinner I could make myself. All I need is water and a microwave and there is my meal. I like that I would be able to throw this in my bag for work and prepare it on the go.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Kelly L.:  This product was similar to sriracha sauce but maybe had a little more heat. The slickness was definitely present, but not too much to handle.
