Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Amy M from WI about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Amy M:  I was a little skeptical about trying these noodles. My son is a huge fan of Ramen so we tried them together. First of all, the preparation on the noodles is super easy. Microwaving the product takes only a couple minutes and they are cooked to perfection. The texture and quality of this product is great and the flavor is even better. I was worried about the flavor being spicy but it was a flavorful spice that my mouth welcomed. I was so happy with the chicken and ginger notes of the broth. I would definitely recommend this for a snack or quick lunch at work. My son loved it too! He asked me to buy more.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Amy M:  If I had to add to this dish I would go with some grilled chicken or maybe some chorizo sausage. On top of adding a protein to compliment the noodles, I would also add some brussel sprouts because those are my favorite vegetable and the cabbage flavor would really go well with the broth.
“The texture and quality of this product is great and the flavor is even better. ”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Amy M:  It is extremely convenient from other ramen that I have tried. This only take literally minutes to make and bam it's ready. The flavor is great too. I like the authentic packaging as well.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Amy M:  If you own a microwave you can have authentic ramen. Most of us have this convenience at work too. So whether you are at work or home, jut pop the cup in the microwave and a meal within minutes.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Amy M:  I am not a spice lover. I can only handle minimal spice but the broth was also so flavorful that it was tolerable even for myself.

Thank you for your time, Amy M! We love your feedback.
