Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Sharon K from CA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Sharon K:  The broth has a rich fresh vegetable aroma and taste. The noodles cooked perfectly. They were firm blending well with the broth, each bite was delicious. The broth has just the right amount heat, flavorful but not overpowering.
“Each bite was delicious.”

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Sharon K:  I would add cooked meats and extra vegetables. The broth is rich and flavorful enough to use as the base for a quick lunch or snack.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Sharon K:  The rich, fresh broth and firm noodles sets the Shin Cup apart from other ramen products I have tried. The spicy broth is flavorful enough to add extras to the soup and not dilute the flavor. The vegetables tasted fresh and cooked well.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Sharon K:  I popped my Shin Cup right into the microwave. I liked that flavor packet was in a separate envelope. The cup is large enough to add extras without making a mess or diluting the broth if it is too spicy. On the go or at a desk it would be super easy just to add water and enjoy. Easy, versital, quick and flavorful.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Sharon K:  There was just the right amount of heat. I like that I didn't need to add extra flavoring. My mouth had that wonderful tingle but wasn't so hot it overpowered the noodles and vegetables. A perfect balance.

Thank you for your time, Sharon K! We love your feedback.
