Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Debbie J. from MO about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Debbie J.:  The flavors of garlic, pepper and red chili pepper are blended with a beefy broth for nice tasting noodle soup. The texture of the thin ribbon noodles were smooth, and when the broth and ribbons are mixed together it leaves a lovely taste. Overall everything thing goes together nicely with just the right amount of heat.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Debbie J.:  I would add some strips of steak to the noodle soup. I think the flavors along with the steak would enhance my dining experience.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Debbie J.:  I liked the different flavors in the soup base, they gave a nice taste to the noodles. I think ramen noodles are bland when you compare the two. I would choose the Shin Cup over other Ramen products.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Debbie J.:  I followed the microwave directions. It was very quick and easy to prepare. And boy, 3 minutes till ready is great after a long day at work and I'm too tired to prepare a bigger dinner. Also, it's a great lunch to take to work especially when you don't have much time to eat.

Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Debbie J.:  I think you will like this flavorful noodle soup with a heat I know you like. I would be sure the person I'm going to recommend the noodle soup to is a person who likes heat with their food.

Thank you for your time, Debbie J.! We love your feedback.
