Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Angela S. from TN about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Angela S.:  I added egg to soup to be authentic. The spices are amazing and the broth is spicy. If you don't like spicy, then it's not for you. I had them with van egg rolls and dipped them. You taste the spice the black pepper and hints of ginger. I love the little pieces of shiitake mushroom in the green onion and the carrots perfect amount of flavor. If you need a quick fix for lunch this is great with built in bowl. Noodles are a little soft. I prefer al dente .

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Angela S.:  I added egg for texture and flavor and protein. You could add chicken to it premade or cooked.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Angela S.:  I am not a big Ramen noodle fan. The texture of the noodles are different as well as the spices are flavorful. They are not your basic ramen. This is a meal.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Angela S.:  I poured the water to the level as directed and I scramble and egg and added to the soup. Also made myself some van egg rose and had a great meal. Quick and easy at work. I made my egg in a cup and then threw it in the noodles. Is the easiest thing ever takes three minutes
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Angela S.:  It is spicy if you have sinuses or allergies it will definitely open you up. I definitely like the spiciness coworker just came by and smelled it and is going to buy one on his lunch hour.

Thank you for your time, Angela S.! We love your feedback.
