Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Rachel H. from MD about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Rachel H.:  Nongshim is a unique, spicy flavor of creamy, authentic beef broth. The tangy and bold onion, pepper and garlic flavors really come through in this classic, salty noodle soup. The noodles are thick and satisfying.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Rachel H.:  I would love to try adding some shredded cheese to top off my Shin Cup, just to thicken up the broth and make it into an even more creamy soup. I would also add supplemental noodles from home to enjoy a larger meal with the delicious flavor of this noodle soup.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Rachel H.:  The Shin Cup has higher quality, thicker noodles, and a stronger, more authentic beef flavor than other ramen I've tried. I really liked the creaminess of the broth and the bold, spicy soup taste.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Rachel H.:  Shin Cup preparation is simple, easy, and convenient. I just followed the microwave instructions on the back of the bowl. It only took me about 5 minutes to make my meal on-the-go.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Rachel H.:  The Shin Cup brings the perfect amount of heat to a ramen noodle soup. It has a spiciness that leaves your mouth satisfied.
