Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Sandra D from FL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Sandra D:  I definitely taste the hot spices, they are overwhelmingly hot, the noodles absorb the hotness of the broth. The noodles acquire the spicy taste, but they seem to be easy to the tongue. I had to leave mine in the microwave longer than the recommended 3 minutes, but the consistency of the noodle was a more flavorful one. Enjoyed the spicy bits of onions, mushrooms and chili peppers.
“The spices enrich the favor so much that you forget the heat.”

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Sandra D:  I would definitely add shrimp, I love the taste of spicy shrimp. This noodle soup would bring out the taste of the added shrimp.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Sandra D:  I actually liked the spices, I had never tried spicy noodles until now. I definitely like the taste.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Sandra D:  I followed the directions for the hot water method and left it soaking for 3 minutes, but I had I put in the microwave for another minute for the noodles to soften a bit more.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Sandra D:  Extremely hot for someone that is new with hot flavors, but the spices enrich the favor so much that you forget the heat.

Thank you for your time, Sandra D! We love your feedback.
