We talked to Barb S. from MI about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Barb S.:  The flavor of the broth has both a pepper and chili flavoring to it. It's very spicy, but I do like a spicy flavor so I'm not offended by the taste and the soft noodles are a nice addition to the mix.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Barb S.:  I love the spicy flavor of the shin noodle soup and if on the go, it's a perfect lunch time meal. You could also add shrimp or if vegetarian, some nice vegetables to this and have it for dinner. Easy and quick to make.

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Barb S.:  I think the difference from your competitor would be the spicy flavor. I also like the easy of having it in a cup.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Barb S.:  I read the directions and chose to prepare the shin cup using hot water. After heating my water, I opened the pull top back half way, added the flavor packet, poured the hot water to the marked line on the cup and then covered it back up with the lid for about 4 minutes. After that I pulled back the lid and stirred to then eat.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Barb S.:  I would say that this definitely has a kick to the spicy flavor. If you want to tame it down, you could probably add just a little bit more water.
