Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Erin C. from TX about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Erin C.:  This ramen is fantastic! It truly is my favorite ramen! The smells after you add the flavor are enough to make your mouth water. The noodles are soft and delicious. This ramen has the perfect amount of spice, your mouth tingles a little and your nose might start to run, and it's still so good. I even love to drink the broth after I finished eating!
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Erin C.:  My favorite way to eat this shin is with a cheese and cucumbers. After I add the hot water and spices, I mix in some chopped cucumbers and lay a cheese slice across the top. Close it up and wait. The cucumbers offer a nice crunch as you eat, and the cheese makes the brother creamier!
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Erin C.:  This shin is so full of flavor and spice! The little packet you add smells wonderful as soon as you open it. I like that is filling too. Other ramen often leaves me still hungry.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Erin C.:  This ramen is so easy to prepare! Just open the top, add the spice packet, pour in your hot water and wait... I like to set a plate on mine to keep it sealed.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Erin C.:  This ramen is perfect! Your nose might run, but it's a good burn!
“It truly is my favorite ramen!”
