Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Ellen N. from KS about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Ellen N.:  Definitely not your average quick noodle soup. It says spicy on the product, but I think it has just the right amount of "bite" to it. The noodles has a kind of squishy taste and texture, not like paper like some other products. The soup flavor and noodles go very well together.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Ellen N.:  I would drain some of the soup and cut in some polish kebabs to make stir-fry. Maybe also cut in a few more mushrooms.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Ellen N.:  It really has good tast and texture compared to others I have tried. A lot of times after the cooking time you still have to let other noodles stand to get fully cooked. This product was ready to eat after 3 min. in the microwave!

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Ellen N.:  It is very easy to prepare. The instructions are clear. I used the microwave method and my noodles where ready in 3 min.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Ellen N.:  The heat was just right for me, if you dont like spicy you may have to add more water or less spice. This may affect your flavor though, which is really great.

Thank you for your time, Ellen N.! We love your feedback.
