It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.
We talked to Ashleigh S. from OK about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:
Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Ashleigh S.: The first thing I notice when I taste the noodles is the spicy taste of all of the spices. The noodles are a great al dente, firm noodles not squishy. The aroma is very appealing.
“The aroma is very appealing.”

Ashleigh S.: The Shin Cup has a nice spicy flavor that I could enjoy on a regular basis.

Ashleigh S.: I added the flavor packet to the cup. then I added water and put the cup in the microwave. then heated the cup for 2 minutes.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Ashleigh S.: The first bite of the shin cup is a bit overwhelming, but as you eat more the spices just give you a nice warm feeling that you want to enjoy again.
