Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Marcia P. from NV about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Marcia P.:  The different flavors in the broth that I taste are spicy and chicken flavors. They come together and make the noodles taste good. The noodles have a chewy consistency, yet they're perfect for this kind of broth! They are pretty long noodles, so make sure you chew well and slowly!!
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Marcia P.:  Actually, I would add more vegetables and maybe some ground meat or taco meat and some butter to this cup of noodles and a tad bit more hot sauce. That should cover everything, a whole meal or in one!
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Marcia P.:  I liked most about these noodles was the texture of the noodles and flavor combined. It's different from the other ramen noodles because it has more flavor in the packets and it has dried herbs and seasonings the other noodles doesn't have that in them.
“I had a small meal in under 5 minutes - a college kid dream.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Marcia P.:  I prepared the noodles by adding water to them putting them in the microwave for 3 minutes and it was done. The preparation time was a breeze I had a small meal in under 5 minutes - a college kid dream.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Marcia P.:  I would tell them if you don't like spice then don't get these noodles, because they are very spicy. If you do like spice then they are perfect for you the heat I rate it a 7 on a scale from 1-10 ten being the hottest ever.

Thank you for your time, Marcia P.! We love your feedback.
