Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Jill C. from FL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Jill C.:  The noodles were perfectly cooked, not hard or mushy tasting, and the broth has a deep beef flavor. There's a subtle mushroom flavor that's nice.

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Jill C.:  This would be perfect served over a bed of jasmine rice. You could also pour this soup over a bowl of steamed vegetables for a delicious meal.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Jill C.:  The noodles very perfectly cooked with no after taste. The noodles were not hard or over cooked. The cup is very sturdy with enough room on top to take it out of the microwave without burning your hand. There is no water over spill from the cup when cooking it in the microwave. The broth has a deep beef flavor that is very tasty.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Jill C.:  Super easy to prepare. Once i remove the lid, I filled with water to the line inside. It was the perfect amount of water for the noodles to cook. I then microwaved it.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Jill C.:  This is definitely towards the top end of spicy. You have to really enjoy spicy to enjoy this product. You definitely taste the red chili pepper. It does leave your mouth spicy after eating it.

Thank you for your time, Jill C.! We love your feedback.
