Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Suzanne B. from VA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Suzanne B.:  Overall, the product was delicious. The noodles were soft and tasty, and did not have the starchy aftertaste of similar noodles. The broth had a a nice spicy kick it, but was not overwhelming. The consistency and texture of the noodles, combined with the broth was delicious.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Suzanne B.:  In order to enhance the experience I would probably add chicken and some more vegetables, which make it a more rounded meal.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Suzanne B.:  The consistency of the noodles was more like a regular noodle, rather than a starchy tasting ramen noodle. The seasoning also made the difference, since it was more pronounced than you had most other cups of noodles.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Suzanne B.:  I used the microwave instructions and it was very easy to use. Opening up the cup, placing the soup base inside, then filling to the fill line, and microwaving took less than 5 minutes.

Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Suzanne B.:  If you have a high tolerance for spice, this is the soup for you. On a five star scale, it ranks about 3.5 stars for spiciness.

Thank you for your time, Suzanne B.! We love your feedback.
