Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Elizabeth P. from GA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Elizabeth P.:  The soup is extremely hot to start off, not only temperature but also spice-wise. I enjoy the taste and spice of the soup and the texture of the noodles is that of ramen. Once you let the hard noodles soak in water they turn soft and stringy which is nice. I like the flavor packets and veggies that come in it a lot. It's a nice cup of noodles.

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Elizabeth P.:  I think it's great the way it is! Maybe I would pour it over some rice or more veggies to complete the meal alternatively!
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Elizabeth P.:  I love the spice and flavors. This particular ramen has a much more pungent spice to it than other ramen cups and noodles, which is definitely enjoyable if you like heat.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Elizabeth P.:  Very easy to prepare. You would need to have a microwave or hot water on hand, which is usually not the case, though. It's very easy nonetheless and is completely prepared in 3 minutes give or take.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Elizabeth P.:  The heat is extreme, it's noticeable after at least 2 bites. Your nose runs, and I don't suggest rubbing your eyes if you've handled the noodles. Though they're quite spicy, if that is enjoyable to you I would say these are awesome!!

Thank you for your time, Elizabeth P.! We love your feedback.
