Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Ronda B from FL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Ronda B:  The noodles are the perfect texture, they aren't over cooked. This soup is way more flavorful than the other cups of noodles that are available. This soup is spicy and delicious and perfect to warm you up on a cold day. There is a subtle soy and veggie flavor as well.

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Ronda B:  The soup alone is a great quick meal, but adding some stir-fry or steamed vegetables with this spicy noodle soup would be a great addition to make it a complete meal. Noodle soup would be a great, easy side dish with chicken or seafood as well for a dinner option. I chose to eat it as a soup with vegetables for lunch. The flavor is spicy and the steamed vegetables went perfectly with it.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Ronda B:  This soup is more flavorful and spicy than most noodle soup or ramen options that are available. The directions are easy to follow, and in 3 minutes I had a quick lunch. The flavor is very bold. I liked it a lot and will be purchasing it again.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Ronda B:  This ramen option was very quick, I followed the microwave direction option. The directions are easy to follow and in just a few minutes I had a hot, delicious lunch ready.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Ronda B:  This product has a lot of kick to it. I like spicy foods and I tend to always go for the spicy option. The spice level is probably a 6 or 7 out of 10. If you pair it with vegetables or meat it would even out the heat a little bit. The flavor is really good though!

Thank you for your time, Ronda B! We love your feedback.
