Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Janelle J. from TX about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Janelle J.:  The broth is tasty and just the right amount of spiciness. I love that there are bits and pieces of mushrooms and green onions included. The noodles taste good and are quite filling.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Janelle J.:  I would use this as the soup portion to go with a salad and a meat. That being said, this soup cup could serve as lunch by itself as it is a large helping. One could add shredded chicken or beef to enhance the eating experience. This cup is quite versatile.
“This cup is quite versatile.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Janelle J.:  This Shin Cup differs from the other ramen noodles in quantity. You get a large helping. Too, there are included dried veggies, like mushroom and green onion that make it even more yummy.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Janelle J.:  The Shin Cup is easy to prepare. I just added the base packet and hot water. A line is added so you know just how much water to add. Then just let it set for 3 minutes, and viola, it's ready!
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Janelle J.:  I love spicy foods. This product is not over the top spicy. It has a little kick but not enough to take away from the flavor of the soup.

Thank you for your time, Janelle J.! We love your feedback.
