Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Maryam I. from AZ about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Maryam I.:  It is quite tasty for a cup noodle, and I wasn't expecting that. It is very spicy and I looooove spicy food, so that's good. It's not super salty like other brand cup noodles also I like the green onions, mushrooms etc.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Maryam I.:  I would add a pinch of salt to it, as I found it not salty enough for me. I would love to add some boiled eggs to it or some cooked meat as a side to make it a complete meal.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Maryam I.:  I like the taste of it more than ramen. It is not very salty as ramen is. The noodle texture is also way more appealing than ramen.
“It is very spicy and I looooove spicy food.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Maryam I.:  I prepared it in a microwave in 3 minutes. It's super convenient and I would definitely buy again just for the convenience.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Maryam I.:  If you like spicy food, then you will love this product. However it's not like ghost pepper spicy, it can definitely be edible and you can actually taste the other flavors, so the spice is not overshadowing everything.

Thank you for your time, Maryam I.! We love your feedback.
