Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Rebekah R. from MO about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Rebekah R.:  The broth has flavor notes of mushroom, onion and chili, and is just the right amount of spicy. The noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente and have a good bite to them. Together, the noodles and broth make a perfect combination of a spicy and savory comfort food.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Rebekah R.:  It would be delicious with some chopped up green onions or some fresh mushrooms. It would also be amazing with some beef or chicken!
“The noodles are far superior to other ramen!”
— Rebekah R.,  MO
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Rebekah R.:  I liked the texture of the noodles the best, they were perfect! It differs from other ramen in that it is spicier and has more flavor, and also that the noodles are far superior to other ramen!
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Rebekah R.:  The preparation was extremely easy, all I had to do was open the pouch, add water and microwave! I love that you can eat it in the cup on the go. I also loved the size of the cup, it was not tiny and almost overflowing like a lot of other ramen varieties. Overall the preparation was super simple!
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Rebekah R.:  It is definitely spicy, but not too spicy. Even if you can't handle super spicy foods you could still eat this. It is a good level of spicy that would work for almost anyone!

Thank you for your time, Rebekah R.! We love your feedback.
