Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Talytha M. from WY about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Talytha M.:  The broth of the Shin noodle soup tastes like it has soy sauce and chicken flavors. The noodles in the soup are a bit slimy, but they are good. Overall I like the Shin noodle soup, I would probably buy these noodles again for a quick snack or lunch.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Talytha M.:  My idea of enhancing the mealtime experience of the Shin noodle soup could involve adding dumplings. If I were to make this as a meal for supper, I would make it with wild rice, green beans and mushrooms.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Talytha M.:  I like that the Shin noodle soup has green onions and mushrooms in it. This cup of noodles differs from others because the vegetables in it actually taste real.
“This cup of soup has a pleasant kick of spicy to it.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Talytha M.:  It was very convenient to prepare this soup. All that was needed was to add the seasoning and then a little water and microwave the cup for three minutes.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Talytha M.:  This cup of soup has a pleasant kick of spicy to it. The spice is not too much -i t is very enjoyable.

Thank you for your time, Talytha M.! We love your feedback.
