Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Sandie W. from TX about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Sandie W.:  In this product, the flavor is in the broth; a rich deep beef flavor, in which I also taste a scallion flavor as well. The soup is very flavorful and savory. The noodles were delicious and just the right texture, and a perfect match for the broth.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Sandie W.:  To use the Shin cup in a meal, I would also add some bread to eat with it. The soup already has vegetables in it, and the beef flavor is great. I prefer to have some type of bread when I have soup.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Sandie W.:  I really enjoyed the rich beef flavor, and a special treat was the mushrooms and vegetables in it. I have tried other Ramen soup cups and this one has far better taste and I really enjoyed the textures of the vegetables and noodles more.
“I really enjoyed the rich beef flavor.”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Sandie W.:  It was easy to prepare the Shin cup, as all I had to do was add water and microwave. It's an easy quick go-to meal.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Sandie W.:  I would tell someone that this product is spicy, but not so spicy that it drowns out the beef and vegetable flavors. The spiciness just enhances the flavors.

Thank you for your time, Sandie W.! We love your feedback.
