Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Heidi B. from WY about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Heidi B.:  The first thing I tasted was spice, it was like a siracha flavor and it hits you quickly while intensifying as you continue to eat. The noodles remind me more of ramen noodles which were smooth and delicious and not mushy like some other instant noodles. This bowl has added veggies in it as well and those were just as spicy yet delicious as well. This is definitely not your normal boring cup of noodles.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Heidi B.:  I can see having some garlic bread on the side of this. I think I would enhance this by adding chicken or beef as well as some potatoes to make a more filling protein added meal.
“It's extremely satisfying and makes me happy.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Heidi B.:  This differs by it has way more flavor to it then other ramen I have tried. I love spicy foods and this is the first ramen that actually gives me the kick I am looking for. The noodles taste better as well since they are more stable and not mush when being microwaved.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Heidi B.:  I added the soup packet and water as directed and microwaved it for 3 minutes. This was so easy to put together that I can see having these as my lunch instead of hauling soup and worrying about it spilling. I love just how easy and convenient this is!
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Heidi B.:  I would say if you enjoy spice and heat then this is definitely for you! It's extremely satisfying and makes me happy.

Thank you for your time, Heidi B.! We love your feedback.
