Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Claudia S. from GA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Claudia S.:  After trying these noodles for a quick lunch, I was thrilled with the taste. The broth has a nice spicy kick to it, but not overwhelming. The hint of scallions was delicious. I love the flavor of the noodles. Not too rubbery or mushy, just perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a good product that I will buy again.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Claudia S.:  I might add a fried egg to the bowl to get some proteinor some steamed veggies to get some more vitamins in the meal.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Claudia S.:  It didn't taste too salty, which I find in most instant noodles. It was also a perfect hint of spice for my liking. Most other noodles are bland, this Shin Cup was anything but bland.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Claudia S.:  I opted to prepare it in the microwave. It took 3 minutes and came out cooked perfectly. The prep was simple and easy.
“I was thrilled with the taste.”

Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Claudia S.:  I would say that this product definitely has some heat to it, but not mouth-burning heat. Just a nice kick to spice up your noodle soup.

Thank you for your time, Claudia S.! We love your feedback.
