Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Glenda C. from NJ about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Glenda C.:  I used the hot water method. The broth is super spicy with a very well developed flavor of various peppers. However, It isn't overpowering allowing you to enjoy the soup. The balance between spice and flavor is outstanding. The broth is well seasoned and not too salty. The noodles are soft yet firm and complement the broth well.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Glenda C.:  I would add various protein options such as shrimp or chicken. I would also add more dehydrated vegetables such as corn, peas, or cabbage.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Glenda C.:  The broth was better than other ramen. It was spicy but not unbearable. It provided a great balance between spice and flavor. Also, it was not salty the way other ramen soup can be.
“The balance between spice and flavor is outstanding. ”

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Glenda C.:  I prepared it using the hot water method. This was most convenient as it allowed me the opportunity to do other things while the soup was preparing.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Glenda C.:  The soup was Super flavorful with a punch of spiciness. A first, the spice in your mouth seems overwhelming but quickly mellows out and leaves a nice aftertaste.

Thank you for your time, Glenda C.! We love your feedback.
