Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Heather C. from IL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Heather C.:  The Shin Noodle Soup is spicy and packed with so many different tastes that radiate your tongue. The bold and savory broth makes your tastebuds water. The noodles look like traditional ramen soup but more slimy, gooey, and rounded.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Heather C.:  Shin cup is a great meal and could be enhanced by adding a simple recipe that includes fresh vegetables.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Heather C.:  I really liked that the Shin Cup because it was made in the United States. Secondly, I enjoy how convenient it it was to make it. The illustration on the side of the package was well-written and easy to understand.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Heather C.:  When I got home I went into the kitchen and I turn on the light and I read the directions on the package of the shin cup. I turn on the water and fill it up to the waterline and then put into the microwave oven for three minutes. When the timer went off. I noticed my soup was done, so I took it and sat it down at the table. I took a small bite at first because it was hot and couldn't stop eating it until it was gone. I think the portion size was perfect, but the spicy pepper was extreme.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Heather C.:  If you want a bargain deal and a great meal than try the Shin Cup today. You can serve it with many different side dishes. I would rate the spiciness a 7 out of 10.
