Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Marilyn H.:  With the first taste of the soup, the wonderful spicy flavor of the chillis were the most prevalent sensation; the heat was exactly the right degree. The noodles had a firm and velvety texture and were the perfect offset to the spiciness. In the background is a very flavorful beef broth with subtle hints of mushrooms.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Marilyn H.:  The soup provides a fantastic base for tofu, which would absorb the spicy flavor. Adding some fresh vegetables, particularly bok choi or snow peas, would make this a complete meal. Also, slices of shitake mushrooms would enhance the earthy undertones of the soup.

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Marilyn H.:  I am a lover of spicy foods, and this soup was certainly very spicy without being too hot. The flavor was more intense and intricate than most ramen soups.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Marilyn H.:  I prepared the soup by adding water and heating it in a microwave. It was quick and easy, although I did serve it in a bowl because I feel this makes the meal special.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Marilyn H.:  This is not a soup for those who do not love spicy food. This soup is hot, but it is rich and flavorful as well. The noodles are the perfect balance to the spiciness.
