Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Karen R. from FL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Karen R.:  The broth is very spicy but it is tasty. I can taste onions, corn, mushrooms and bits of carrots. The texture of the noodles are soft and fresh. It is a savory spicy soup which I enjoyed.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Karen R.:  The soup was delicious as is but I would enhance it by adding tofu cubes for protein. In addition add cilantro and a few ice cubes to reduce the heat in spice.
“The Shin cup is so deliciously spicy and easy to prepare.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Karen R.:  The Shin cup was tasty because of the flavors of mushroom, carrot and corn. Other Ramens are very salty tasting and not as flavorful. You either taste the salty chicken broth or it's spicy and flavorful. The Shin cup is very good. I am definitely adding to shopping list.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Karen R.:  Preparing the Shin cup was very easy and convenient. I boiled water on the stovetop and poured the spice packet and hot water to the line. Closed the lid to soften the noodles and was ready to eat within minutes. It's a great option to take for lunch at work.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Karen R.:  The Shin cup is so deliciously spicy and easy to prepare. It is very flavorful and inexpensive. It's a filling meal and you can add any protein if preferred to meet your daily requirements.

Thank you for your time, Karen R.! We love your feedback.
