Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Kayla S. from IL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Kayla S.:  The broth is delightful. It is thin, yet salty with right amount of spice. The noodles in the Shin cup are very bouncy and better quality than other noodles. There are many different flavor notes that will have you guessing at what all you are tasting in this delicious cup. There is the distinct beef flavor, with hints of shiitake mushroom, garlic, and chilli pepper. Overall the Shin noodles are very good and my opinion a much better quality soup than other similar products.
“The broth is delightful. ”

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Kayla S.:  To enhance my mealtime, I would dip my favorite crackers in the broth after finishing the noodles. I would also scoop out the vegetables with my crackers and eat them.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Kayla S.:  The noodles in the cup are much better than regular Ramen or other brands. The broth was also very good and the ingredients were obviously better quality.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Kayla S.:  To prepare the Shin cup, I simply added got water to the line inside and waited 3 minutes. It was very easy to prepare and was ready to eat after the 3 minutes. This would make it very easy to prepare on your way out the door.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Kayla S.:  The level of spiciness is a nice, balanced amount. It is not too spicy so that it will make you take a drink after every bite. I was able to consume the entire cup without even a little sweat!

Thank you for your time, Kayla S.! We love your feedback.
