Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Amy D. from GA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Amy D.:  These noodles pack a ton of heat! The broth has a good mix of spicy from the red pepper flakes and savory from the beef broth. The noodles cook up perfectly soft and absorb the aromatic broth. Shin noodle soup, matched with my favorite sweet tea, made a perfect lunch time meal.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Amy D.:  I would like to add some sliced brisket or steak strips to this! The hot broth would soak in to make it super tender and flavorful. Or maybe an egg, poached in the broth. Definitely some green onion for flavor and color.
“This is absolutely the most flavored instant noodle soup I've ever had.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Amy D.:  This would be a great item to pack in my lunch for work. Working the night shift, hot food doesn't stay hot and reheated food is horrible. I could heat this up and it would be fresh at 2 a.m. This is absolutely the most flavored instant noodle soup I've ever had. Most ramen has muted flavor because it needs so much water. This was excellent.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Amy D.:  I followed the directions on the cup for microwave cooking. I was trying to think of how I would make this at work. We dont have access to a stove where we can heat water. I'm glad it had a microwave option.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Amy D.:  These noodles are super spicy! They are not for the weak or timid!

Thank you for your time, Amy D.! We love your feedback.
