Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Taylor M. from FL about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Taylor M.:  A hearty broth with intense spice is the thought that comes to mind after tasting this soup. It's very flavorful and the spice doesn't overpower all the other components. The noodles were soft and chewy like a Ramen should be. It was beefy tasting with different vegetables and a ton of spice.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Taylor M.:  I think a great additional to this already flavorful meal would be delicious Kobe beef, perhaps thinly sliced. White rice would also be an excellent accompaniment, as it would help balance the spicy shin flavor
“The spice awakens all your senses so you can fully enjoy your Shin noodle soup.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Taylor M.:  The soup was surprisingly hearty, which lets this soup stand alone as a meal. I also find the level of spice to be perfectly balanced to bring out all the flavors in the soup with an intense kick. It awakens all your senses so you can fully enjoy your Shin noodle soup.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Taylor M.:  Per the instructions, I filled the cup to the water line with boiling water from my electric kettle. My soup was ready in minutes. I let it cool before enjoying.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Taylor M.:  This product is not for a spice novice, but in my opinion it's a level of spice that is intense enough to wake you up... all while allowing all the flavors of the soup to shine through.

Thank you for your time, Taylor M.! We love your feedback.
