Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Yu H from VA about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Yu H:  This ramen noodle is amazing. It's not too spicy when you first taste it, but you will have a little more burning feelings in your mouth later. The broth tastes salty and sour. The noodles are not too soft, pretty chewable.
“This ramen noodle is amazing.”

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Yu H:  I will cook this noodle with meatballs, and also add more mushrooms in it. I also will put a little salt and chicken flavor in it to improve the flavor.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Yu H:  Other ramens I've bought before are more salty. The flavor is not as mixed as this one. This noodle tastes a little like kimchi, but it's more spicy.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Yu H:  It's easy to make. I just pour hot water in it, and put in the flavor pack, close the top cover. In about 5 minutes, the noodles will be ready. It's simple enough, and the flavor pack is just enough to bring a burning feeling for the mouth and a salty taste from the noodles.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Yu H:  This ramen is a spicy one. If you like the burning feeling in your mouth, you'll definitely like this ramen.

Thank you for your time, Yu H! We love your feedback.
