Gourmet Spicy Shin Cup

Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You’ll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It’s a quick-prepare soup that’s just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Gina O. from TX about NONGSHIM, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Gina O.:  I prepared the noodle soup cup exactly as on the packaging stated. The noodle soup was very delicious. It is certainly different from your typical Campbell's chicken noodle soup or other soups. The flavors are explosive and so is the spice! Deliciously spicy is an accurate description, but whoa get your fire hoses ready! I tasted flavors of red peppers, mushroom, garlic, green onion among many others. The noodles were tender and added the perfect texture to go along with the many different spices and flavors of the soup.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Gina O.:  I like the serving suggestion pictured on the front where fresh sliced mushroom and peppers are added as garnishments. That would be a good idea and compliment the already present flavors of those garnishments. Perhaps throw in a little more fresh sliced green onion and some garlic paste and you're all set!
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Gina O.:  It had a very distinctive taste that is differentiated from the others. The peppers and explosive spices were the best part.

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Gina O.:  I prepared exactly as directed on the side of the cup. It was extremely easy and convenient. Packaging was easy to open and all you do is open packet, put in cup, fill to water line, and put in microwave. Then all the sudden you've got something different and exciting for lunch! Super easy and very affordable!
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Gina O.:  I would say if you have a high tolerance for spice and love peppers and mushroom then this is for you. If you cannot handle heat then get out of this Shin Noodle Soup Kitchen! Caution: For spice lovers only! High level of heat and very spicy.

Thank you for your time, Gina O.! We love your feedback.
