Why Judith Picks Hillshire Farm® Brown Sugar Cured Ham
I like Hillshire Farm products and have purchased them before. I plan to save this ham for the holidays and enjoy it with my family. I especially like the Hillshire Farm Bone-In Spiral Sliced, Brown Sugar Smoked Ham. We will eat it for dinner and fry leftover slices for breakfast the next day.
How she Feels About Prepping The Holiday Ham
I have made this type of ham before and think it's easy and convenient. The hardest part is making sure the sugar glaze doesn't burn at the end of the cook time.
Judith’s Favorite Thing About Holiday Meals
I love leftovers. I like to make a ham and turkey. We also have stuffing, yams, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, rolls, cranberry sauce (fresh and canned) and giblet gravy! Yum!
Who Else she’d Recommend This Ham To
I would recommend a Hillshire Farm Ham to everyone. I know they are good. Sometimes we get a cheaper brand, and they are too fatty. We got one from my husband's boss last year, and it was too fatty to really enjoy, and we ended up tossing a lot. I've never had that problem with Hillshire Farm Ham.
When I think of Hillshire Farm Bone-In Spiral Sliced Ham with Brown Sugar I think lovingly on my late grandmother because she made them a lot on holidays. I have a lot of good memories eating holiday meals at her house.
