How To Make No-Bake Peanut Butter Energy Balls

Avoiding the temptation to snack is hard. I really, truly understand. I mean, put a plate of veggies and a platter of brownies in front of me and I will pick the brownies every time. If anyone understands the battle with sweets and self-control, it’s me. So, I was forced to find some practical solutions when it comes to snacking— and I surprisingly found some sweet-tooth alternatives that I really like and will actually continue to eat.

The one I seemingly find myself coming back to on the reg? Peanut Butter Energy Balls. They’re easy, require no oven, and they actually make you feel full and satisfied so you aren’t just mindlessly munching.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Energy Balls

Smuckers Natural Creamy Peanut Butter | ½ Cup
Old Fashioned Oats | 1 Cup
Virginia Brand All Natural Honey | ⅓ Cup
Flax Seeds | ½ Cup
Toasted Coconut | 1 Cup
Vanilla Extract | 1 Teaspoon
Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chips | ½ Cup

Here’s what to do:

  1. Mix all ingredients together using a spoon or your hands. (FYI, mixing a bowl of ingredients with your hands makes you feel like a pro chef.)
  2. Stick the bowl in the fridge for about 20 minutes to firm up the mixture.
  3. Take the bowl out of the fridge and roll the mixture into bite-size balls. (I usually roll 1 inch balls so they are easy to take along!)
  4. Keep them stored in an airtight container—they’ll stay good for about a week when refrigerated!
