Light And Breezy Summer Entertaining

In Partnership with The Pioneer Woman

We talked to Melinda from TX and here’s what she had to say:

Q
What Did You Think Of The Pioneer Woman's New Bbq Sauce?

A
The Apple Brown Sugar Pioneer Woman BBQ sauce sounded like it would be good used on pork or chicken. After tasting it, I know for sure it is great on them. It has a slightly sweet, but not overly sweet taste with just a hint of a smokey flavor.
Q
What Type Of Dish Would You Like To Prepare With It…

A
I would probably use this for chicken wings to snack on or for a get-together like watching something on TV.
Q
What Sides Will You Pair With The Meal?

A
I would serve Pioneer Woman BBQ wings with potato salad, corn on the cob, and possibly some watermelon or cantaloupe chunks. I really think it would be great for both an outdoor get together with friends or served as part of a meal with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes.
Q
Have Any Go-to Summer Hosting Tips?

A
I'm all about relaxed get togethers, so a bonfire cookout near a lakeside with a nice sandy beach is my ideal. Add a canopy tent with some solar fairy lights for when it gets dark and a good mix of music from the 60's to present and lots of places to sit and talk with friends. A summer party shouldn't be a lot of hard work, just fun.
Pioneer Woman BBQ sauce is perfect for a light and breezy summer get together with friends and family.
