Katie On The Flavor Of The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce
I chose the rustic bolognese flavor this evening as it sounded so authentic and tasty. The texture was fairly thick which isn't common for most jarred sauces so that was an interesting sensation. Each taste had a new flavor with notes of peppers, garlic, pork, and a mild beef tone.
What She Made With It…
I paired this sauce with a cooked rigatoni. I chose this dish as I wanted to balance out the smooth texture of the rigatoni with the chunky consistency of the sauce. This was filling without any additional sides although a light salad was a nice complement.
How The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce Simplified Dinnertime
This makes food preparation easy as the taste gives off the impression that you put a lot of work and ingredients into it. I would try a lasagna dish next with this sauce to entertain a dinner party with friends or family. Lasagna is such an easy meal that is appreciated by most and I think the balancing act of this sauce would really add a zing.
The Flavor She’ll Try Next…
I would really like to try the four cheese flavor next. To me, a cheesy tomato sauce is very difficult to find where you can taste the cheese under tones without the tomato and/or spices overpowering.
