Sara On The Flavor of The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce
I chose the Marinara flavor because I knew if I liked the Marinara, I would love the others. The base flavor of the tomato sauce itself is very important to me. The flavor is perfectly seasoned and salty, but not overpowering. It has a nice deep, rich flavor. The texture was smooth with a few chunks. I prefer a completely smooth sauce, but since that's very rarely an option, I have no problem using a blender to make it smoother.
What she Made With It…
I served the sauce over rotini noodles. I love rotini noodles with sauce because the crevices in the noodles hold a lot of sauce so you always get a nice and flavorful bite. As a side, we served mixed vegetables with butter.
How The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce Simplified Dinnertime
Using a jarred sauce like the Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce is a great weeknight option because it's all already made and seasoned and you just have to open it and warm it up! I would serve this to my parents, in-laws, friends, anybody who visited me!
The Flavor she’ll Try Next…
Next I would love to try either the Italian Sausage & Peppers or the Four Cheese. I did love the plain marinara one that I tried first though and would definitely buy that one again! I'd love to try it with meatballs or sausage next time.
