Laura On The Flavor Of The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce
I choose to try the Italian sausage & pepper flavor. The most noticeable taste is that of the roasted peppers and it's delicious. The sauce is also rich and chunky. One can easily recognize the diced vegetables. The color reminds me of salsa, which confirms that there are no food coloring in it.
What She Made With It…
I know it's a pasta sauce but I used it to accompany some leftover fried fish instead. I like to use ready made pasta sauce to add more flavor (simmered a few minutes). I served it with white rice.
How The Pioneer Woman Pasta Sauce Simplified Dinnertime
It's definitely a time saver and I like the fact that its ingredients seem clean. I think that pasta sauces are very versatile, one can use it with pasta or as cooking sauce for meats. I would love to try it on lasagnas. The strong flavor of the peppers will definitely make a difference.
The Flavor She’ll Try Next…
I'd like to try Rustic Bolognese. I like homemade authentic Bolognese sauces, and if this brand lives up to the quality I have experienced with the Italian sausage and peppers, I think I might like that one too.
It's really delicious and I'll buy it again. I just wish there would be some no sugar pasta sauces available. I don't think it would affect the taste that much.
