The Best Meal Kit I've Had
In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations
We talked to Katelyn from KS and here’s what she had to say:
If Katelyn Had a Food Network Show
My show would probably be called "Mom Meals." I would want to make healthy food that you can prep ahead of time, and also quick after-school snacks. I enjoy making any meals that are kid-friendly because I love seeing my husband and kids satisfied after dinner. If I can find any meals that please them both I am happy!
Her Experience Making the Food Network Kit…
The preparation of the meal kit was super easy. I would say altogether I spent around 25 minutes making it. The directions were clear and easy to understand. I love that the instructions came with photos because I had my nine-year-old daughter help me. The kits are something fun to do with kids as well.
Katelyn’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
My Food Network Kit had a ton of flavor once we added the sauce at the end. I can't say that I tried it before that to tell you what the flavor was before the sauce was added. We enjoyed the Southwest chicken that we purchased. I was a bit skeptical about the dried beans but it was delicious. The dried vegetables were not chewy and did not taste like they were dried once they had simmered.
Why she’d Make a Food Network Kit on her Show
I think the Food Network Kit would be easily incorporated because I believe that, like I said, cooking with my daughter is what I enjoyed most about it. It's something that you can do as a family because the instructions are easy to follow, and everything is basically prepped and ready for you. It would be a great fit for the show that I would have, because it is something that kids can do with their parents.
