Quick Comfort Flavor

In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations

We talked to Kelly from NV and here’s what she had to say:

If Kelly Had a Food Network Show
It would be about cooking American Filipino foods. It would probably involve more comfort foods and healthy options since there are so many veggies in this type of food. It would be named, modern comfort Filipino.
Her Experience Making the Food Network Kit…
The Food Network Kit was easy to make, just 3 or 4 steps but took longer than I expected to make. It took about 40 minutes for me to make. The instructions were simple, as long as you have a pot it is a great uncomplicated dinner.
Kelly’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
The flavor was the Southwest Style Chicken Food Network Kit so it was a little spicy and tangy. I enjoyed the protein making it a more complete meal and I loved that the spice was not to strong, it was mild and more enjoyable. The texture is creamy and a little chewy from the chicken and rice.
Why she’d Make a Food Network Kit on her Show
I would incorporate this by switching out the vegetables and adding a thick stew to make the dish more comfort food. I enjoyed the fact that it didn't require many ingredients to purchase. It would be a great fit for those who want something tasty and quick to make. I would say to recommend it would be that it's an inexpensive meal that has your carbs, protein and vegetables all in one dish and very tasty.
The Food Network Kit is an easy and very flavorful food that leaves you feeling very satisfied and full afterwards.
