Gourmet Cooking Made Easy!

In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations

We talked to Gaye from TX and here’s what she had to say:

If Gaye Had a Food Network Show
My show would be about cooking healthy for my family on a budget.
Her Experience Making the Food Network Kit…
I liked the step-by-step instructions on the card. However it would've been nice to show the pictures of packets on the card, as they were added. It was easy to prepare but there was quite a bit of moisture in the pan that took a while to cook out.
Gaye’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
The Shrimp Scampi Kit was purchased. The flavor was good, however the noodles were slightly overcooked because we had to cook out some of the moisture. It would be a good idea to remove shrimp and liquid and then start pasta step with a dry pan. All in all my family liked it. I will just add less liquid next time. Or I will remove the shrimp in the liquid they are in.
Why she’d Make a Food Network Kit on her Show
I would add the Food Network Kitchen Inspirations as a fast meal for my teenagers to cook themselves. All I need to do is have the fresh meat in the refrigerator for them. Then my husband and I can go out to eat.
Food Network Kits are gourmet and easy enough for kids!
