Food Network Kits Inspire Me to Cook and Feel Like A Chef, All in Less Than 20 Minutes
In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations
We talked to Angela from NJ and here’s what she had to say:
If Angela Had A Food Network Show
My show segment would be about preparing easy meals that taste like they took hours to prep. I'm always in a rush. I really don't like to eat fast food, and I don't like to order takeout, so the next best option is meals that are easy to prepare and don't require a lot of ingredients.
Her Experience Making The Food Network Kit…
Prepping and cooking my shrimp scampi Food Network Kit was easier than making scrambled eggs. I used one pack for the whole meal and the box provided everything I needed, from the seasonings and spices all the way through to the Parmesan cheese. All I had to do was add shrimp, garlic for flavor and basil for appeal. It was ready in under 20 minutes. The directions were incredibly easy and the recipe card was extremely helpful. I'm saving it so that I can make shrimp scampi from scratch when I have time to really cook!
Angela’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
I purchased the shrimp scampi Food Network Kit. And I can say that they do not skimp on flavor. It comes with dried onion, seasoning kit, and Parmesan cheese which all add to the flavor and make it authentic. The only thing I had to add was garlic and butter to cook the shrimp. It tasted like restaurant-quality.
Why She’d Make A Food Network Kit On Her Show
I would incorporate this shrimp scampi Food Network Kit into my show segment as something that you prep and then you make it your own. By that I mean you add other ingredients that you have on hand i.e. the basil for garnish or fresh onion and minced garlic. I had a leftover tomato from lunch so I sliced it up and I added it to this meal. So my segment would be about tweaking these meal kits to be an "original" dining experience.
